Dershowitz: D’Souza persecution partisan malice

“This is an outrageous prosecution and is certainly a misuse of resources,” charged [Harvard law professor Alan M.] Dershowitz. “It raises the question of why he is being selected for prosecution among the many, many people who commit similar crimes.

This sounds to me like it is coming from higher places. It is hard for me to believe this did not come out of Washington or at least get the approval of those in Washington.”

Nice to see even a lefty Democrat like Dershowitz incensed over this obvious political prosecution.

  1. Poor old Alan,
It’s just shocking to him. Took him long enough to see the blazing obvious.

  2. Well, as you said in a previous post, the man practically confessed. The question is, would he get off with a slap on the hand or will they throw the whole book at him.

  3. They’ve charged him with a felony. That’s the whole book, right there. A fine and prison time if he’s found guilty by a jury. It won’t stop him making anti-Obama docs but it probably will break him personally and, perhaps, financially.
