DSL problems
Posting will be minimal, if any, for a while. My DSL modem is on the fritz. AT&T has promised to come Monday and check the line, if not necessarily replace the modem. The thing's warranty is out, and it seems to be the major difficulty, so I hope they replace it.
If not, I may consider switching ISPs, though that would be a major hassle and AT&T has provided good service up to now. We think a thunderstorm a couple of weeks ago, which knocked out the landline service (which contains the DSL connection) may have been the culprit here. The techs said the line was the victim of a power surge. We were thinking about having the landline disconnected anyhow. We use the cell phones most of the time.
ADDENDUM: Yes, we were disappointed by last night's Texas loss to Texas Tech. But Tech, a longtime in-state rival, played a great game and deserves to be No. 1, even if the BCS computers don't agree. The Horns also beat themselves, with too many dropped passes (and one almost-interception), costly penalties, an OL that couldn't stop Tech's D, etc. Hope Texas stays in the top five. They'll be back.
Comments
I don't have a landline for 3 years. A biggest nuisance, so far, is to remember to charge the cell - or take it off the charger when living home.

For some reason, the DSL modem is finally working again. The night before the tech is due out. Figures. We're going to lose the landline here this week. It's only good for incoming sales calls.

So the DSL cut off all day yesterday, but now seems to be working again. I think it's the Ethernet connection to the PC which seems to have been damaged in a recent power surge. It works only intermittantly.

Where should I go in Bangkok to find a great shopping mart? I am taking a trip to Bangkok, Thailand in August and wanna do a lot of shopping. I am not interested in the regular shopping malls because I can find that in the United States. Can someone recommend me some markets around Bangkok with a variety of things? Also I just finished watching the travel channel they said Cha-Ta-Cha was the hugest market. Where is this place and am I hearing it correctly?

I truly enjoy this concept, and have been considering about this sort of point to get a even though now (the way to much better leverage particular connections for internet based dating). The by going online dating area is broken. It's like impersonal buying, and it's a space that is definitely grossly overdue to get a tune up that integrates social connections in a neat and efficient way. Leveraging Facebook to enable most people to play matchmaker, makes a ton of sense. If you have time. Please enter my blog best laptop bag

I understand that this might sound rude, but I definitely don't agree with the title THE TEXAS SCRIBBLER: DSL problems . I believe it is a terrible atrocity to human kind. I believe you should definitely be more kind next time. Still I must admit, that your writing is exceptional. Best Wishes, Nicolas Bost
