Merkel: Censor Internet to stop more Trumps

Curious that our little Barry Hussein’s proclaimed last European trip as president was to Germany where embattled chancellor Angela Merkel called for government control of the Internet which she implied was responsible for a “wave” of right-wing politics that “engulfs us.”

“Digitization is a disruptive technological force that brings about deep-seated change and transformation in society. Look at the history of the printing press, when this was invented what kind of consequences it had. Or industrialization, what consequences that had.”

Germany’s Zeit newspaper called for Web controls to prevent “a German Donald Trump.” Britain’s Independent published a list of “fake” news sites they claimed may have “swayed votes towards Donald Trump.” One of them was Breitbart News, which the Hagzilla, always in need of a new boogeyman to disguise her intentions, claimed during her losing presidential campaign is part of the “white supremicist” alt-right.

  1. “Look at the history of the printing press, when this was invented what kind of consequences it had. Or industrialization, what consequences that had.”
Which is why Frau Merkel, I sit in a warm apartment and can type this, instead of being like this:

  2. Indeed, Merkel the Turtle would be happiest if we were all serfs to her ruling class, dependent on priests to read to us from handwritten texts. Likewise all consumer goods would be handmade and therefore too expensive for us masses. His imperial majesty, President Pen and Phone who has issued more than 300 executive orders in the past six years, apparently thinks that would be just dandy. To the extent he actually thinks.

  3. President PP, I like that.

    • It will be his main legacy after Obamacare is gone and most of his executive orders have been overturned by Trump’s pen and phone. I could come to like this sort of thing, Every time there’s a new party in the WH the executive orders get overturned. That would keep the bureaucracy so busy they’d never have time to bother us.

  4. I don’t think Angela is going to be around much longer. The German masses are beginning to get a tad upset. When that happens, the changes Trump brings in are not gonna be that impressive any more.
