    It’s so absurd. A virus that has yet to cause a single confirmed fatality does not need attenuation. Once delta is gone, the remaining Omicron may be less dangerous than the vaccines. Human viruses have a trajectory of getting milder because we don’t infect ourselves on corpses and are not exposed to insects the way wild animals are.
