The magic that never came again

OCS chum Jacob Kinser was killed in March, 1970, when the Huey he was piloting crashed into a line of trees in the fog. His widow still has the most poignant posting on the Wall of Faces: “Thanks for the magic. It never came again…”

  1. Isn’t it amazing that those of us can still remember the names of our OC 504-68 friends! Must have been the rhetorical role calls and stop and drop’s by name from our fearless leaders that imprinted the names in our memory.
    Kinser is definitely one such name.
