   Blue eyes – my fave color. Anyway, doesn’t being the daughter of a cousin makes her Mr. Boy’s second niece? Confusing, that, for me – in all three languages…

   CG: It is a knowing expression, but I learned after Mr. B.’s birth that babies can’t focus on anything beyond a few inches for many weeks.
   Snoop: Lots of babies have blue eyes when they’re born. Sometimes the color last, sometimes not. Mr. B.’s blue eyes turned to hazel in his first year and have remained so.
   Breezes were cool. But no rain. We got that when we came home a few hours ago.
