Vote

I’m voting for the war, i.e. straight Republican, despite many differences with them. I don’t trust the Democrats to prosecute the war, and if it isn’t prosecuted, it seems to me, all other issues will be moot.

  1. Well I guess we cancelled each other out.(Not really since we are in different States). I voted straight Democratic for Senator, Congressman and Councilwomen in my Town. The only opposition from the Republicans was in the Senate Race.

  2. I’m with you Dick. After Democrats screwed over the RVN
and negated everything we did, I really don’t want a repeat in Iraqi.

  3. Joe — I suppose we canceled ourselves out, in a way, since Texas is a Republican state and New Jersey, more likely to be Democrat. Actually my vote might mean something more since Austin, pretty much alone in the state, usually goes Democrat.
Tom — If they get control of the House, I think we can count on attempts to cancel war spending (as with Vietnam), which when nullified by the Senate, or vetoed if it somehow makes it through the Senate, would be followed by long, acrimonious hearings in attempts to impeach Bush.
