Death and taxes

Several thousand dollars poorer, we are ready to mail our federal taxes and forms tomorrow for another year. There’s lots of complaints I could think of to complain about but why bother. In truth much of what we pay for in federal taxes is necessary, and the stuff that isn’t there isn’t much of anything we can do about.
