All the rain we’ve had this year has made for a pretty garden. Even as the heat draws on, it’s still  vibrant.

    Well, now, you’ve got me there. A former owner planted those bulbs. This is the first year it’s been wet enough for them to bloom in profusion. But I really don’t know what they’re called.

    Here’s a possibility I found on Google. They look quite similar: Brodiaea ‘californica.’ More here:

    those are really beautiful! They look like agapanthus.
    Lame as it is to use wikipedia, it had the most similar pic I could find.
