The MSM is fooling you. Or trying to. The economy, they’re all saying, is in a tailspin headed for recession. Got to elect a Democrat to save the day. Harrumph. There hasn’t been one negative growth quarter yet, let alone two, which used to be the definition of a recession. Ah, but unemployment has ticked up to 5.1 percent, you say. Or, rather, the MSM, er, wails. Hey, guess what, unemployment was 5.4 percent in 1996 when Bad Bill got re-elected on what the MSM then was calling a soaring economy.
