Family room’s new porcelain ceramic tile, paid for by sale of the family sloop. A fair trade, we think.

    Very nice, just don’t get slippery fingers with a glass of your favorite beverage–it’s very unforgiving. I know from experience. Hope you’re right on the polls.

    We use plastic glasses, generally, for that very reason. The polls are all over the block. I don’t trust any of them very much.

    Nice, with one small note: it would fare better with the grout of the same tint (or darker 2 tones) as the tile. White will get stained pretty quick and with sorta mottled pattern on the tiles it will look muddy even if mopped.

    We considered darker but the installers recommended this color. Bone, actually. The camera flash only makes it look white. Also rippled where I compressed the photo to fit on the page.
    It’s also thickly covered with poly grout sealer, which can be renewed as needed and should keep it from getting stained. We were told it will darken some with age, but that mopping it with hot water only will help.
