Lulin naked eye object

In dark-sky locations, that is, well beyond the urban light cone. It’s a pale "fuzzy patch" in the constellation Libra just before dawn–including at the Comanche Springs Astronomy Campus in Northwest Texas. And the photos and videos keep proliferating.

  1. Thanks for the tip, I shall check the local schedule. My telephoto lens needs some airing.
    The problem is that they promised clouds and rain starting tomorrow morning. Just my luck.

  2. Likewise here, clouds and a chance of rain. We do need the rain, however. But we have until the 24th which should be the big show.
