Looks about as seaworthy as a hollowed-out brick, the USNS Impeccable, the ship whose ambling near their submarine base got the Chinese so worked up.

    I thought that catamarans are considered to be quite seaworthy – up to a certain level of storms, of course.

    I presume it actually is seaworthy or they wouldn’t have built it, much less sent it across the Pacific, which ain’t always pacific. It just looks goofy. I have heard that catamaran sailboats have a tendency to flip upside down in high seas. Presume this thing has a way to prevent that.
