Barry can, indeed, be eloquent, and bold, when he chooses to be. Get this Cairo lesson for Muslims:
"Around the world, the Jewish people were persecuted for centuries, and anti-Semitism in Europe culminated in an unprecedented Holocaust. Tomorrow, I will visit Buchenwald, which was part of a network of camps where Jews were enslaved, tortured, shot and gassed to death by the Third Reich. Six million Jews were killed – more than the entire Jewish population of Israel today. Denying that fact is baseless, ignorant, and hateful. Threatening Israel with destruction – or repeating vile stereotypes about Jews – is deeply wrong, and only serves to evoke in the minds of Israelis this most painful of memories while preventing the peace that the people of this region deserve."
It probably won’t change anything, but you’ve got to give him an A for effort.

Let’s say that there were no applauding after that part. Unlike when he mentioned the Palestinians plight.
I know. I was trying to be evenhanded with him, for once, since there is so little I like about him. The Palestinian “plight” as you well know, is to have corrupt and venal leadership. W. was the first prez in modern times to point it out in public and then he backtracked. All the rest only play the “plight of the Palestinians” song. If Barry keeps this up, he’s going to lose a good percentage of American Jews, who are among his most reliable liberal constituency.
