  1. Eerie. I thought CH have compound material blades. Or is it EH?

  2. The CH blades are composite material. The newest ones have titanium on the leading edges to help them wear slower. I suppose that might create the halo, but it seems to be mostly a trick of the Afghanistan dust reflecting the ground lights. I don’t know what EH refers to.

  3. Composite, yes. My memory is going steadily.
    But re the effect – it has to do with static charge accumulation on the blades and on the dust particles, as a result.

  4. My powers of observation aren’t any better. If the halo was reflecting the ground lights, it would be more green than it is.
