On The Saco

Most modern, academic artists, the ones who get the grants and the publicity, couldn’t draw a real cow if their life depended on it. Let alone a real tree. Their work is junk. This is not. And we need more of this natural art of real human experience.

  1. Your description of entry-level requirements (couldn’t draw a real cow if their life depended on it) makes me wonder: maybe I miss my real calling? Cause that’s exactly my level of drawing abilities.

  2. Well, there you go. It’s certainly not a requirement anymore. How much drawing was involved with Piss Christ? Or the usual inhuman art of hammered iron and steel bent in some weird shape and titled: “Mother and Child.”? You just know the guy couldn’t draw a mother or a child.
