Happy Birthday, Israel (and Mrs. Charm)

Mrs. C.’s fiftieth coincides with Israel’s sixty-second. Israel’s celebration will be noisy. Mrs. C.’s will be muted, a bit bemused, in keeping with the shock of having so many candles, a veritable blowtorch. Shhh. We have to keep this low-key.

With any luck, she’ll never see it. The prophet in his own house, you know. 😉

  3. Happy birthday. Our best wishes. Eva says Mrs. C has to be good since she is born in April as she was. Joe

  4. Yeah, April is good for birthdays. Some of my favorite relatives has their birthdays in April.

And yes, the Independence day here is rather a punishment to one’s senses.

Same here with July 4 with all the fireworks. Course, this close to Mexico, we get fireworks (and firecrackers) at Christmas and in May (Cinco de Mayo) and September (Diez y Seis), as well.
