Poe: So Arizona, since the federal government fails to secure the border, desperately passed laws to protect its own people. The law is supported by 70% of the people in Arizona, 60% of all Americans and [27]% of all Hispanics, according to the Wall Street Journal/NBC poll done just this week. And I understand that you may file a lawsuit against the law. It seems to me the administration ought to be enforcing border security and immigration laws and not challenge them and that the administration is on the wrong side of the American people. Have you read the Arizona law?
Holder: I have not had a chance to—I’ve glanced at it. I have not read it.
Poe: It’s 10 pages. It’s a lot shorter than the health care bill, which was 2,000 pages long. I’ll give you my copy of it, if you would like to—to have a copy.
Can anybody in Obamalot play this game? Read it all here.

Weak argument, Dick. Actually, that’s generous-you’re not even making an argument.
Deal with reality-we’re going to be engaging in racial profiling, not to prevent terrorism (in which case, it is necessary, if unpleasant), but to prevent misdemeanor offenses.
Nobody needs to read the law to know that’s what it does. Who will be asked to prove they “deserve” to be here? Certainly not pale-skinned, Celtic looking types like me. Holder is entirely right. Yes, once in a while a lefty says something that’s true. It does happen.
You know, I don’t need to read the entire Internal Revenue Code (though, as an Accounting major, I read a fair amount of it) to know Federal taxes are too high. Or the text of Obamacare to know what a mistake it is.
But what do we care? Profile away! Even if plenty of the profiled turn out to US citizens- we’re huntin’ the hated Mexicans!
All you want to do is argue the same tired points over and over. No amount of explanation makes any impression on you.
The immigration issue is not about racism, except to people who insist on steering it that way. To them the borders must remain open now and forever so they can feel good about themselves.
