Mr. Boy always has liked the Sacramento Kings, however woeful their record—hey, when you’re a Rangers fan you learn all you need to know about defeat.
But he now has a brand new reason: Omri Casspi, a second-year forward and the first Israeli player in the NBA—with a growing fan base, too, which I hope won’t ever have to do battle with the anti-Israel left.

Dick, the Sacramento Kings were originally the Cincinnati Royals. My home town of Dayton is only about 55 miles north of Cincinnati. As a kid and a teenager I saw several Royals games before they moved to Kansas City in the mid-70s. One time I saw Cincinnati led by the great Oscar Robertson play the Philadelphia 76s led by Wilt Chamberlain. If I recall correctly, Cincinnati won.
I guess they lost the ability to win very often after they left Ohio, huh? I hope Casspi gets traded, for his own sake.
