The Food Stamp President

I would have preferred a woman or minority candidate to take on Obamalot next year, as I fear that even with high unemployment the country has simply gone too far PC to let a white guy replace the Tan Man.

But Gingrich, at least, is a ferocious debater and an equal-opportunity insulter. “The food stamp president,” indeed. Not to mention proponent of Muslim dictators—so long as they are freely elected. As was Hitler, BTW.

Newt may not be the best possible guy, indeed, the GOP and Washington—mostly liberal—establishments don’t like him. But maybe that’s a good thing. As long as he does a credible imitation of a floor mop, I’ll vote for him—anybody would be better than President Golf Shoe.

UPDATE:  Gingrich does have the candor most politicians lack, such as calling the Palestinians the fakes they are and the “peace process” as bogus as it is. And I gotta like any conservative Peggy Noonan finds “disturbing.”
