   I would say medium clever and far from new. But then, the slogan is even older and stupider – if possible.

   It seems to be a takeoff on FDR’s “Forward With Roosevelt” slogan in 1936. Altho why it’s not “Forward With Obama,” I have no idea, unless it would dilute the classic Marxian use of the word.
