Seven Muslim Children

Tell him to put on the bomb belt
Tell him he will have 72 virgins
Don’t tell him that he must die
Don’t tell him that he must kill children
Tell him the Jews aren’t human
Tell him they’re the sons of apes and pigs
Tell him they are infidels in Dar al-Islam
Tell him they let their women be free
Tell him their gays are free
Don’t tell him their gays are free (just in case…)
Tell him Allah will bless him
Tell him we will call him a hero
Don’t tell him how they will die
Don’t tell him how they will be scarred
Don’t tell him they have parents too
Don’t tell him they offered us a country again
Tell him they have no right to a country
Tell him it’s better to die than to admit it
Tell him how we danced in the streets on 9/11
Don’t tell him we danced in the streets on 9/11
Tell him it’s better to kill them than live with them

A pretty good take on Brit Caryl Churchill’s play Seven Jewish Children, which is predictably anti-Israel. Whereas this Muslim version by Dr. Mike is merely true.

Israel’s sixty-first

Our Memorial Day stands, rather lonesome, a few months before our Independence Day. By contrast, Israel’s two such days come back to back. Their Remembrance Day was Monday, their Independence Day, the sixty-first, was Tuesday. I also like the way even their most senior IDF officers eschew the "chest candy" that ours wear. War, whatever lies the foreign news media like to tell, is not celebrated there. Even their national anthem has none of our rocket’s red glare. Treppenwitz explains it all rather better than I could.

Israel’s secret weapon

Instapundit finally discovers the secret. Now the whole world will know. Just in case it didn’t already.

Mitzvah for the sun

Birkat Hachamah – Blessing G-d for the sun every twenty-eight years. A thank you for something we couldn’t live without.

Happy Passover

Still my favorite Passover picture. That’s "Moses Transports" on the back of the moving van.

Violence on campus

Even Arab Muslim journalists need police protection if they make a habit of writing what they see:

"…we should not be surprised if the next generation of jihadists comes not from the Gaza Strip or the mountains and mosques of Pakistan and Afghanistan, but from university campuses across the U.S."

Not that the problem is limited to U.S. university campuses.

Feminism is such a bore

The case of the Israeli admiral who was reprimanded because he, gasp, was seen smoking a cigar at a Tel Aviv strip joint, calls to mind the old days of "smoke ’em if you’ve got ’em." That was what old sergeants used to say back in the days when the morning run was still made in combat boots.

I even recall a charity bazaar at Fort Benning, a carnival, really, where one of the featured attractions was a stripper’s tent. Drawn from the local bump-and-grind talent. Not that you’d see anything like that anymore. Feminism has quashed all that. Now even warriors are supposed to genuflect to the Sisterhood. Bleh.
