The Fitzgerald

A warship doomed by ‘confusion, indecision, and ultimately panic’ on the bridge.

The Navy she has become a sloppy ship. The Fitz was the second destroyer hit by  a tanker merchant ship, this time in broad daylight, in three months in 2017.

UPDATE:  “There was debris everywhere,” Fort said under oath of the destroyer’s Combat Information Center. “Food debris, food waste, uneaten food, half-eaten food, personal gear in the form of books, workout gear, workout bands, kettlebells, weightlifting equipment, the status boards had graffiti on them. I’d never seen a CIC like that in my entire time in the Navy,” the surface warfare officer of more than 25 years recollected.

“Call her (redacted) and get her fired”

The latest Leftist vigilante group in Austin is a small UT collective of antifa. They’re doxxing (publicizing names, addresses and phone numbers) every conservative or temporary passerby they can find on campus. Up to and including trying to get the working targets fired. None reported so far among the thirty victims of this liberal lynching.

Trump on the wall

“This is a crisis of the heart and a crisis of the soul,” Trump said. “Women and children are the biggest victims by far of our broken system … this is the tragic reality of uncontrolled migration on our southern border.”

An example, apparently, of what the Dims (Pelosi) called his malice and CNN (multiple personalities) called his lies.

“Trump said his proposal to Congress has both medical and other resources to deal with the flow of migrants, as well as law enforcement, and a $5.7 billion ‘steel barrier,’ which he said was a concession to Democrats, rather than a concrete wall.”

Dims want higher taxes

The Dims are planning to hit at the source of the new prosperous Trump economy, i.e. lowered corporate taxes. The Dims want to raise them again, substantially.

“Just last week, it was announced that the U.S. economy added 312,000 jobs in December. Over the past 12 months, wages have grown 3.2 percent and 2.6 million jobs being created. The U.S. has been named the most competitive economy in the world. Manufacturers just had their most successful year since 1997 and small business optimism is at record highs. Raising the corporate rate, as House Democrats are proposing, would undo these gains.”

Is it out of spite? Just to deny the GOP its economic glory? Or merely to tax and spend as the Dims usually do? They have many palms to grease. No matter. Until the Senate turns blue, it won’t happen.

An impressive hole

View of the far side of Luna, a great hole to be explored, and inside the Chinese probe, an experimental biosphere that may lead to a moon base for people– a sustainable closed ecosystem.
