Feminism is such a bore

The case of the Israeli admiral who was reprimanded because he, gasp, was seen smoking a cigar at a Tel Aviv strip joint, calls to mind the old days of "smoke ’em if you’ve got ’em." That was what old sergeants used to say back in the days when the morning run was still made in combat boots.

I even recall a charity bazaar at Fort Benning, a carnival, really, where one of the featured attractions was a stripper’s tent. Drawn from the local bump-and-grind talent. Not that you’d see anything like that anymore. Feminism has quashed all that. Now even warriors are supposed to genuflect to the Sisterhood. Bleh.
