The race police strike again

So some old Southern white woman I never heard of before, who plays a chef for NBC on the rube, admits to having (horrors) used the word nigger back in the 1980s and now, some thirty years later,  she’s to be fired from her chef job?

Well, sure, honey. She be white. Would she be black, now, no way, no how would she be fired. She could say nigger, nigger, nigger (or whitey, whitey, whitey) all she wanted. No questions asked.

The race police of the snooze media wouldn’t even stir from their nap.

UPDATE:  Seems the populace isn’t taking the race police as seriously as they once did. She may have lost her chef job but her cook book is selling like lo-fat hotcakes at Amazon and it’s not even published yet.

MORE:  There’s a rumor about that her problem wasn’t so much saying nigger thirty years ago as tattling on FLOTUS (also known as the Moocher) for eating, eating, eating during  commercials when she was a guest. Hey, no kidding, does she look slim to you?

AND:  The cookbook has been withdrawn by its publisher, despite its advance sales. The race police will out. Makes me think the rumor is true, true, true. You can’t thwart the Moocher without consequences. If the former chef is smart she’ll go indie with the cookbook. Then she won’t have to share the profits with the political publisher.

You say Nigra, I say Negro

I have no use for sourpuss Harry Reid. But his use of the word Negro and the subsequent hoo-rah over it is just crep. What other minority flips out if a public figure doesn’t subscribe to their appellations-du-jour? Balderdash.

Reid also is pilloried because he put words to the obvious: that Barry is light-skinned. No kidding. And has no Negro dialect. Nope, sure doesn’t. He might have said Barry is actually half-white. There’s one still in hiding.

People of color, instead of colored people. What malarky. Why do white people allow themselves to be forced to play this stupid race game? Okay, so nigger is a pejorative. Except when it’s in a black mouth. Hypocritical poppycock. We should take a break from this nonsense, starting with Reid.

UPDATE: Baldilocks agrees, Reid was only telling the truth (for once).
