Every once in a while, the snooze media reveals its behind-the-scenes intentions, such as this gem from WAVY-TV 10’s website:
“NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – It seems much of the country is gripped by the George Zimmerman murder trial.”
You wish. The truth is that “much of the snooze media” is gripped by the trial. An increasingly large “much of the country” is finding better things to do than watch rube tube snooze or read the snoozepapers.
As for Zimmerman, we’ve known from day one that he, like the Duke LaCrosse Team, was going to be lynched. Especially after Wormtongue stuck his racist nose into it.

UPDATE: GZ is acquitted. So he doesn’t go to prison, he’s just in debt for the rest of his life to his lawyers. Lynched, for sure. And now Wormtongue and Jackson and Sharpton will lead the post-lynching mobbing, along with their cronies in the snooze media. Racists every one.
MORE: PJMedia’s Roger L. Simon says it was the first “American Stalinist show trial” and the big loser was Wormtongue who had already disgraced himself and his presidency by inserting himself in the case. Fortunately the all-women jury had enough guts not to cave to his political pressure.
AND: It didn’t take Wormtongue long to stick his nose back into the case. But I do like this part: “But we are a nation of laws, and a jury has spoken.” Late, but good.

Please, for Pete’s sake, can we all now just shut up about the Zimmerman/Martin case and get back to reporting news?
Ah, but you see, news takes work and journalists are a lazy bunch. They much prefer when it’s handed to them on a platter, as in a trial, especially this trial which Wormtongue inserted himself into long ago. Being good Democrats, they also like any chance to polish their race consciousness.
