Some of that work the astronauts of STS 116 were doing last week, installing structural trusses and rewiring the International Space Station/ NASA

    This must be a bewildering experience for the astronauts. The entire world is in the palm of their hands.

    Large portions of it, anyway, Deborah. They’d have to go to the moon to ‘hold’ it all in their palms. The ones who go are such matter-of-fact people, that it’s hard to know what they feel. I doubt if they know. Imagine their dreams after returning.
