Bush Derangement Syndrome strikes again. Sixty-one percent of Dems either assert or wonder if President Bush knew of the 9/11 attacks in advance, according to this Rasmussen Poll. Even the RP is gingerly with the results, choosing to headline something else. No wonder. Who wants to be first with the news that more than half the constituency of a legitimate political party is insane?

    It reminds me of the insane idea that the government destroyed the WTC and that there was no Flight 93 drama. Perhaps people would rather believe in a malevolent president – which they can somehow get their heads around – than in a world they cannot understand or control at all.

    I hope the poll is wrong. Lots of polls are. BTW, I haven’t been able to comment at Just Muttering. Not getting the letter code image on the security thingie.
