    Hit counter and link counter coupled could cause health problems indeed. Better to abstain, but how?

    Some bloggers write for the hit counter. Some just write.

    The only way to abstain is, as JD says, to just do it and move on to the rest of your life. As long as it stays fun. So far, it is.
