Bloggers all a’twitter, so to speak, over this Florida nitwit congressman’s swipe at Sarah, which ABC happily runs without context or background. Big whoop. Guess those high-paid "journalists" at ABC didn’t know how to check out Wikipedia’s entry on this genuis:
"Hastings was a lawyer and judge of the circuit court of Broward County, FL, and of the U.S. District court(1979 to 1989). He was impeached and removed from office for corruption and perjury. He is only the sixth federal judge to be impeached and removed from office in American history."
I love Sarah’s response, via spokeswoman: "We’re taking a pass."

You bet. No, there wouldn’t be much to be proud of in this character. I tried posting a comment at TFG’s about Hastings’ background, BTW, but for some reason my comments aren’t getting through over there. So I did it here.
