Should be a pretty easy opener of the Big Twelve season for Texas, as these things go. A tune-up, you might say, tonight, for what likely will be a tough one, next week, against Oklahoma.
ADDENDUM: It was pretty easy, beating Colorado 38 to 14. And next week definitely won’t be.

Don’t believe Texas will have a problem with Colorado,since our Noles beat them by 18pts last week, and FSU isn’t considered very strong this year,good luck anyway. Still sports, different subject. Tell Mr B to not give up on his Rangers, our lowly Rays have had a miracle season this year. I just hope they get in the series. Side note, that some in the TB area think dropping the Devil from their name was the reason they did so well, personally I think good young players from the farm system, good defense, Joe Madden, and a lack of high paid prima-donnas is the reason.
Thanks for the support. It’s funny, but Mr. B. was just talking about how the Rays did better after dropping the Devil. He is not talkling about his Rangers anymore, but supporting the Red Sox. By next spring, however, I’m sure he’ll be back rooting for the Rangers and agitating to go to one or more of their games. Lots of Texas boys support the Rangers or the Astros until they’ve absolutely bottomed out once again, and then switch to a better team for the end of the season.
