Michele to wear Hijab?

That’s a, more or less, logical question after Barry’s Cairo hymn to most things Muslim. He forgot things like oppression of women, gays, and Christians. Or so it seems to this astounded supporter. Me, I’m coming to love the guy. He is a one-termer if there ever was one.

    I am not as confident as you that he is a one-termer. He is well spoken, comes across on TV very well, and has managed to dance around controversy so far (in which he has been assisted immeasurably by the adoring media). Two things will have to happen for him to lose. He will have to stub his toe badly on some issue, and the Republicans will have to run an attractive candidate who won’t be crucified by the mainstream media.

    Where the Repubs have always made a mistake was in counting on the media not to crucify their candidate. Try to recall one they didn’t beat up on. I can’t. People have to be sick enough of the Democrat that what the media does doesn’t matter. And four years of Obamalot should do it.

    Hijab would actually benefit her. It’d make an impression there is some prettiness inside worth hiding. Not the Fierce Eyebrows.

    Who can say in advance? As RickM says, he has to produce something spectacular in the way of failure to become one-termer. And the opposite is not necessarily true.

    He’s already becoming predictably boring, which is the first step to irrelevance. Plus, all this sucking up to the dictatorships, pretending to be conferring with our allies, while arguing with Germany and telling Israel what to do. Add in 9.2 percent unemployment (the economy will be his in a few more months with Bush-blaming sounding like whining) and, well, you see…
