It’s turning out that the Orlando mass murderer was well known to colleagues and superiors for being an ardent adherent of sharia law. Similar to, if not exactly like, Major Hassan at Fort Hood whose colleagues and superiors didn’t take him seriously. At least in part because of political correctness and fear of being called racist.
“He talked about killing people all the time,” [Mateen co-worker Daniel] Gilroy told The New York Times. And he wasn’t surprised when he learned of the massacre: “I saw it coming.”
That’s what’s got to change: the coddling of Muslims who make their murderous intentions plain. Particularly Muslims who champion sharia law. Because sharia law mandates such savagery as wife beating and the killing of homosexuals.
Barry Hussein’s and the Bag Lady’s usual call for more gun control and diverting attention to ISIS is beyond ludicrous. And they know it.
Trump’s temporary or even permanent ban on Muslim immigration isn’t likely to be entirely effective. The Orlando killer was a U.S. citizen. Better would be to ban Muslim immigration from countries that impose supremacist sharia (Yemen, Iran, Mauritania, Nigeria, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, United Arab Emirates, Iraq & Afghanistan), including European countries where Muslims have formed a critical mass and take sharia seriously.
All of which would require a sea change in American culture in our silly and stupid age, where multiculturalism, political cowardliness and political correctness are going to get us all killed.

All politicians lie, that’s a given, but I can’t recall one who ever pretended that he wrote a book by himself, when he didn’t, and to compound the deception caused his name alone to be on the cover.
Except Barack Hussein Obama and his “Dreams From My Father,” the book that made some of the Democrat media (and, frankly, me as well) figure that here was a pol who really was a master of rhetoric. Of course his public speeches as president have put so many people to sleep no one is fooled any longer.
Yet the fiction of his solo authorship lives on, even though it’s been contradicted by celebrity author Christopher Anderson in his 2009 authorized (and fawning) “Barack and Michelle: Portrait of an American Marriage.”
Wherein the author demonstrates (do a search there on Ayers and Dreams) how unrepentant 1970s terrorist (and longtime Obama neighbor, crony and babysitter of the Obama children) William Ayers contributed substantially to the writing of Dreams.
I suppose the main reason for not bringing all this up now—in addition to making Obama look more of a lying phony than he already does—is Ayers. Just the mention of the name could be toxic as the burlesque Obamalot tries to get re-elected.
The only name that might be worse would be Jeremiah Wright, the One’s racialist Chicago pastor.
“…elements of the U.S. Departments of Justice, State, Homeland Security, and Treasury are responsible for supplying an arsenal to narco-terrorists waging a civil war against an American ally [Mexico].
“Our federal government may bear responsibility for at least 200 murders committed with ‘walked’ firearms, in what Mexican Attorney General Marisela Morales describes as a ‘betrayal‘ of her country by the Obama administration.”
Democrat scandals, particularly Obama scandals, just seem to disappear. Now, if Bush did this….
“Mr. President, should they or should they not build a mosque steps away from where radical Islamists killed 3,000 people? Please tell us your position. We all know that they have the right to do it, but should they? And, no, this is not above your pay grade.”
The famed military historian and one of my favorite authors on our pathetically inept prez:
“His speech today was fine—if one ignores the usual serial invocation of ‘I’, ‘me,’ and ‘my’ that we’ve become accustomed to, as the president tries to radiate authority with first person pronouns rather than common sense reality.”
Nevermind his latest “I’m really tough” speech. This quick clip from Reason.tv makes sense to me. It’s been a fed oil spill all along, unlike Hurricane Katrina, the last disaster in the Gulf.
And, as far the Dem congress is concerned, it’s that they’re also non-union:
“Don’t let Tojo turn you into a unwitting freeway kamikaze for the ‘Divine Emperor’! At the U.S. Department of General Motors, our G-Men are working ’round the clock to stop Jap sneak attacks on America’s publicly owned automotive industrial arsenal. But here on the home front, America’s vehicular victory requires the vigilance of regular Joes and Janes like you. Together we can Shun the Huns and Nip the Nips, and send ’em packing their non-union Priuses back to Yokohama!”
And if Iowahawk’s humor doesn’t convince you, try Car and Driver.
