    I like reading him, but why doesn’t it calm me down when thinking about the next flight?

    I have only recently started reading FL390 and it has become one of my favorites. The author truly loves what he does and marvels at nature’s majesty!
    His expressions of his work and flights describe the beauty and demands of his profession.

    He doesn’t calm me down, either. I still prefer to stay out of the aluminum sausage. But he makes good reading.
    He calls us (passengers) the Pax. I’ll call him (pilots) the GUF. The Guy Upfront. It’s nice to know what the GUF is doing up there.
