The EPA has shut down Shell’s forty billion investment in drilling for oil in Alaska over air quality emissions from an ice breaker. This is not ANWR. It is a bid to increase the supply of gas and oil in this country, not somewhere else where it has to be bought at high prices. Which Obamalot seems to prefer.

    I don’t fear $5 mark. We are paying now NIS 7.6 = $ 2.2. Per litre. Which is about $9 in your vocabulary 😉

    Yeah, but Snoop – you could ride a bicycle across Israel, if it wasn’t for the Palestinian snipers.

    Across, Texas – I reckon you COULD, but it would take you a while, if you aren’t Lance Armstrong.

    Actually, you can ride a bicycle across Israel. The snipers are few and and you can easily avoid the areas where they are.

    However, we have enough oil of our own to lower our price significantly, if our politicians would stop roadblocking its recovery.

    I would try a bicycle, JD, but for fear of being laughed at by kids (including my own). As for snipers – the rumors seem to be somewhat exaggerated. Besides, you can always wear a flack jacket and a helmet, you know 😉
