I admit I rarely listen to the man. Mainly because I rarely watch/listen to anything on television or radio. Far as I’m concerned, they are the moldy past and the Internet is the future that’s so bright you gotta squint.
But I never understood the non-Lefty folks who so intensely dislike Beck. Who have helped make him “controversial” as the journos like to say. Fact that he loves Israel is more than good enough for me. Takes guts to do that openly these days, and Beck does it all the time.
β…many in the history of man have had the opportunity to stand with the Jewish people,” he says. “Time and time again they have had the opportunity, and they have failed. I choose to stand and be counted.β

I do dislike Beck – not intensely, though. First of all his tendency to runaway rants, then his pathological tendency to look for commies under his bed, dresser, chair,… then his growing taste for conspiracy theories… well, enough.
Otherwise he is as cute as they come π
How can you watch/listen to him, then? And if you don’t, how do you know these things are true?
All I’ve ever noticed about him was that he is long-winded and the use of the blackboard seems schoolmarmish. It’s hard for me to picture his detractors all faithfully tuning in to be annoyed or even outraged. But I’m sure he’s grateful for your support. π
