Now here’s one I aim to try: a light beer made with Texas Ruby Red grapefruit juice. It’s already being applauded by one hard-to-please critic down in San Antone.

UPDATE:  I tried a bottle. It tasted like, well, light beer mixed with grapefruit juice. Not bad. But not great either.

    I am forbidden to partake of anything based on grapefruit juice, unfortunately. So taste and tell all, please.

    Sorry to hear that, though I usually avoid the stuff because of its sugar content. I’ll drink a bottle and get back to you.

    Thanks. I wouldn’t touch it then, even if I was allowed. I prefer my beer to taste like beer and GF juice like GF juice…

    Yeah, it’s not that big a deal. Although it is tasty, as Mr. B. would say. If he had a taste for beer, which he doesn’t yet.
