The Left loses its, uh, mind

One of the establishment Left’s favorite house organs, The Atlantic Magazine, is calling for the arrest of Republican John Boehner, the speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives.

So poor wittle baby Obumbles won’t have to negotiate with the “Extreme Right” as the liberals always call their political opponents. Good luck with that.

Although with a corrupt president who has most of the news media (including the perpetually federally-funded NPR), the IRS and the FBI behind him, you never know. Talk about a constitutional crisis. It would make the wittle baby’s federal shut-down theater look like Romper Room. Come to think of it…

Meanwhile, El Paso’s ABC affiliate station’s reporters can’t find a single local resident who has successfully signed up for ObamaCare. At least they’re looking, eh?

  1. My oldest friend, a disabled Nam vet I grew up with, enlisted with, and did boot camp and ITR with, is very worried about him and his circle of disabled vets losing their benefits due to the shutdown.

    I am too.

I could go on but you know I don’t like to write humongous comments. Let the first paragraph ride….

  2. There’s a limit to what even the military-hating Obutthead can do before his party starts taking hits in the polls for the 2014 races, which they can’t afford to lose. So there’s that.

  3. Yeah, arrest and shot at dawn outside, by any means. A good way to manage the affairs, I think.

  4. This bears repeating. For those thinking these people will come to their senses, forget it. They are now in a position (at least in their minds) of no return. Their very methods of gaining and retaining power mean the loss of it will be the loss of all. So they must do whatever they can to keep it. And whatever can mean almost anything in their minds. Already you’re seeing an attempt to de-legitamize the House of Representitives to be able to ignore it or move extra Constitutionally against it. I personally believe they are doomed to fail. But not in the sense we can sit back and it’ll happen on it’s own. We must oppose and resist in such manner that is lawful and consistent with the traditions of this country.

  5. Saw a news item on Drudge that Obutthead signed a bill (Republican-initiated, by the way) to pay disabled veterans. So that’s taken care of.

I agree that, for the most part, the Leftists will not come to their senses, simply because they have the dominant news media on their side. That makes their side seem normal and any opponent subversive of good order.

I resist with the blog and by having joined a Tea Party group and by voting against incumbents every chance I get. That will have to do it for me. I’m too old to march, too busy to call or write letters to pols (even if I thought it would help, which I don’t) and there you have it: my prescription for change. Throw the bastards out at every opportunity.

  6. Stanley,
Good! We all should do what we can. Just don’t do nothing.

  7. From what I’m seeing, Boehner is getting ready to sell out. Like all career pols he fears any drop in the polls. Has no principles to begin with and couldn’t live without his cushy D.C. perks.
