Rule 5: Barbarella

Hanoi Jane in her most famous “role,” though I suspect the breasts are as plastic as they look. I had to hunt for even this level of eroticism. I remembered that the movie was stupid. It was also tamer than I thought.

  1. Well, yeah – it’s pretty tame by recent “standards.” But at the time it was pretty risqué. I Am Curious (Yellow) caused nationwide outrage, but would be a yawner, today.

    Things change.

By the way, TFG would not load for me today. I was wondering if Scott had imploded over the Texans signing of Prince Fielder. A bad idea, in my opinion. First mistake since Nolan’s exit.

  2. I don’t think there are any standards anymore.

TFG loaded okay for me. He has a new layout, entirely new. I think the old one was better. Can’t find anything on it explaining why he changed it. He seems to think Fielder might work out. I gave up on them when they lost their second world series. I did think Kinsler was a big part of their brand. Won’t be the same without him.

  3. I can load it up, now. He more or less explained the changes in an earlier post, but, yeah. I liked the old one better. But you know I’m old and change is difficult for me.

  4. That gun wouldn’t hold me. But the current bout of flu provided courtesy of the youngster is close to do me in. Not to mention more strenuous activities.

  5. It’s the season. I got a flu shot but I also got a head cold, with a sore throat, and clouds have moved in for the weekend, with rain, so it’s achy and gloomy at the rancho.

  6. Yes, the hype for her costumes and the movie itself was quite scandalous, and the critics were all atwitter about it, but the movie stank.
