The army that’s bigger than China’s

Remington 700

And, oh by the way, Wormtongue and his political party have succeeded in driving many of the country’s gun makers to the South, where they belong. Which, as it happens, is where a good many (if not most) of that army bigger than China’s resides.

Bet you didn’t know that the original Mr. Remington’s first name was Eliphalet. The company is keeping its HQ in New York State but, thanks to the Democrat governor’s inane anti-gun stance, is sending 2,000 jobs to Alabama. Yee Haw!

  1. Cool to finally have serious weapons factories in the South. If only we’d had them in 1861 we might still have a republic instead of a nascent dictatorship.

But I never could shoot a scoped rifle worth a damn. Probably because of wearing glasses.

  2. Pity it’s bolt action. But I know there’s millions of others that aren’t. A republic? That was too long ago to even think about.

  3. Well, I seriously doubt all 5M owners know to use it properly. For poorly trained people M15 should be the natural choice.

  4. You would be surprised, apparently. Millions of hunters out there. Even the ones who have only inherited the rifles, if they can load it and know which end the bullets come out, they’re home free.
