Those stolen airliners

Eleven airliners stolen from Libya’s international airport in Tripoli by Islamist militias are supposed to be our worry of the month—for next week’s 13th anniversary of you know what.

Except, as I recall, it took many months to train the eight pilots who suicided on 9/11 in New York, D.C. and Pennsylvania and all of them had advanced college degrees. I doubt these raggedy militias have eight baggage handlers willing to kill themselves. But time will tell, of course.

  1. 9/11 — a good day to stay at home with full pantries and vehicles full of fuel. These ISIS guys bother me because they are operating at several levels above Al Qaeda and those fellas give us a good run for our money and still are. ISIS has boatloads of money and they could hire mercenaries to wreak havoc if they so desire. That is what scares me.

  2. Hmmm. I tend to pity anyone who thinks they can invade this country, let alone Texas, without facing a whole lot of opposition, especially in the form of multiple civilian firearms going off in their faces at the same time. But I suppose with enough money and a North Korean supplier, a few baby nukes could make quite an impression.
