   Like I was telling my wife yesterday about her friends. You cannot talk logic to these people. They believe what they believe, and that’s it. Any facts to the contrary are as gentle breezes in April, noted momentarily, then gone with no affect.

   Come to think of it, I can’t believe I used logic talking to my wife. She is, after all, female.

   Stanley is right, they are “true believers” and there is nothing that will change that short of imminent drastic personal peril.
