The Alt-Left controls journalism

Ever wonder why the Mediacrats focus so much attention on the alt-right?

Gamergate used to be a debate about the alt-left’s takeover of journalism. Now that the alt-left controls journalism, period, it’s become a national debate about fake news.

“Sarah Jeong’s racism isn’t an isolated incident. It’s a culture that is taking over newsrooms. The complete disregard for facts, the pervasive contempt for the political opposition, the impassioned victimhood, and the ravening hatred poorly disguised as comedy now defines the media.

“And so we don’t talk about the alt-left, because when we talk about the alt-left, we’re talking about the media.”

Newspapers collude to attack Trump

Gee, haven’t they (and radio and TV and some of the Internet) been doing that since 2016?. But this is a special effort called and coordinated by the Boston Globe (owned sold by the NYSlimes in 2013) due to Trump’s general “fake news” criticism and his “enemy of the people” charge against specific outlets.

“I hope it would educate readers to realize that an attack on the First Amendment is unacceptable,’’ said Marjorie Pritchard, deputy managing editor for the editorial page of The Boston Globe. ‘‘We are a free and independent press, it is one of the most sacred principles enshrined in the Constitution.’’

Ah, but the First Amendment doesn’t say the government can’t criticize the news media.

“Mr. Trump enjoys free speech just as his media adversaries do. Rather, the First Amendment prevents government from infringing on the rights of Americans to speak and publish. And on that score, there’s a reasonable case that Mr. Trump’s predecessor presented a greater threat to press freedom, to say nothing of Mr. Trump’s 2016 opponent. Mrs. Clinton wanted to restrict the ability of Americans to make a documentary about her. We don’t recall editorial boards joining together to announce they were not with her.”

UPDATE: Another recovering journalist: “By Friday, those pages will be in the bottom of recycle bins and bird cages. And in their cozy, mutual isolations, millions on both sides will feel sure once more that they’re in the right.”

InfoWars censored by liberal tech giants

Not that I have ever paid much attention to Austin’s Alex Jones and his InfoWars setup. Well, I did read some of the daily’s stuff about his divorce, which was a nasty custody fight which he lost. But otherwise…

Still, when Apple, Google, Facebook and Spotify conspire to censor him and his operation—all within 24 hours—you gotta be appalled. If you care about free speech. If you’re a Dim (or one of their lapdog media like CNN or MSNBS) who only cares about PC conformity, then, not so much.

MORE: In the interest of free speech, I downloaded to my phone the InfoWars app from the Apple app store which, curiously, is still available. Its news items seem reasonably objective, as opposed to Jones’ commentary.

Live! It’s Mr. Suspenders!

“Disgraced ‘Newsman Dan’ Rather’s face for some strange reason continues to appear on television screens. It’s latest appearance was on Don Lemon’s CNN basement-rated talk feast straight from his new digs at cBS.”

Journos protest 1A sales

But of course. These Mediacrats are thin-skinned about their narrative. You can’t be free to say what you please about them. Not even at the Newseum. The very definition of Fake News.

Via Twitchy

UPDATE:  Nevermind the 1A. The Newseum has caved: “The Newseum has removed the ‘You Are Very Fake News’ t-shirts from the gift shop and online. We made a mistake and we apologize. A free press is an essential part of our democracy and journalists are not the enemy of the people.”

Well, some of them, like the fulltime liars at CNN and the NYT, certainly are.

The NYT’s latest Fake News

Former Tel Aviv University historian Martin Kramer: “Nothing gives a historian greater satisfaction than correcting a persistent error. And nothing is more frustrating than the resurrection of that error even after it’s been corrected. Especially if it suddenly surfaces on the front page of the New York Times.”

Especially when it’s fake Israeli history intended to back the Pally cry against “the occupation” with a spurious quote from David Ben-Gurion.

“In the print edition, this claim about Ben-Gurion wasn’t sourced, but the online version provided a link. Where did it lead? To an article by the late Arthur Hertzberg, once a prominent American rabbi, in the New York Review of Books back in 1987. There Hertzberg claimed to have heard Ben-Gurion, right after the 1967 victory, ‘insist that all of the territories that had been captured had to be given back, very quickly, for holding on to them would distort, and might ultimately destroy, the Jewish state.’”

Kramer: “I went to the trouble of asking the Ben-Gurion Archives in Sde Boker to help locate the transcript of the talk that Hertzberg attended. They did, and there’s no evidence whatsoever that Ben-Gurion said what Hertzberg claimed he heard.”

UPDATE: The NYSlimes refuses to correct its error. Why am I not surprised.

Gonna get his legacy
