The climate change that isn’t

Global Warming (TM) a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Democrat Party, is now officially nevermind.

“The climate-research establishment has finally admitted openly what skeptic scientists have been saying for nearly a decade: Global warming has stopped since shortly before this century began.”

As for the refurbished moniker, Climate Change, it’s been downsized, too.

“…the climate-research establishment…have made their predicament worse by implying that man-made climate change is so slow and tentative that it can be easily overwhelmed by natural variation in temperature—a possibility that they had previously all but ruled out.”

So, tell us again, Barry, why do us flat-earthers have to give up cheap coal-fired electricity so your EPA can declare carbon dioxide a pollutant? The science obviously isn’t settled.

With Al it’s always about the money

Al Bore, that is, the phony Green whose Tennessee mansion has more rooms than some hotels. Which makes the Global Warming blowhard’s carbon footprint bigger than Godzilla’s loafers. Who also really looks goofy in a Sheikh of Araby get-up, considering Halloween is still months away.

“Al Gore is a fake environmentalist who leveraged his Green cred to get special access that enabled him to set up a liberal news network that he then sold off to Qatar’s Al Jazeera, a tyrant’s propaganda outlet that pretends to be a news network.”

Qatar. You know, the financiers of Hamas, the terrorists who run Gaza?

Well, Qatar might like Hamas but they’re not so fond of Al. They allegedly stiffed him for millions when Al Jiz bought his liberal network. So Al is suing.

Cool June’s portents

It’s been a cool June so far, with just a week to run. Normally we’d have been in the upper 90s day-after-day by now and, at least judging from the past few years, had a 100-degree day or two. Not this year. Nada.

All of which could have been anticipated by anyone (like me) relying on WeatherBell Analytics and especially my fav Pennsylvania forecaster Joe Bastardi (formerly of Texas A&M) who called all this way back in April.

Relatively cool and relatively wet summer, JB said, and he’s been right so far.

He and his partner Joe D’Aleo also forecast last winter’s extreme cold and they were outliers against the federal forecast of a warmer winter than usual. Of course the feds are locked into their political global-warming hogwash and always see the future through those fractured glasses. How do they walk and chew gum at the same time, I wonder?

Fish story

If the Californicators coming here in droves seem to prefer our drought to the California one, maybe it’s because we’re not helping the feds ship water to fish that could go for people and crops.

The next time you hear a Democrat complain about how climate change (a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Democrat party) is adding to the California drought, remember this fish story.

It will remind you you’re not hearing genuine concern, only the usual political humbug.

No matter what you think of the latest Democrat report that a) the globe is warming b) it’s all our fault and c) more taxes and higher energy costs will save humanity:

“Since even immediate and total shutdown of [ALL] carbon dioxide-emitting vehicles, power plants, and factories in the U.S. would decrease global warming by only a hypothetical and undetectable two-tenths of a degree Celsius by 2100, it is misleading to imply, as the report does, that the Obama administration’s climate policies can provide any measurable protection from extreme weather events.”

China and India are likely to have bigger impacts and they don’t have a truculent fool for a president. Not that this will stop the Democrats, you understand. All rather similar to the other Democrat lies that Obamacare would reduce health care costs and if you like your insurance you can keep it.
