“Former President Donald Trump filed a lawsuit against the Feds over the unprecedented raid on his Mar-a-Lago home.

“Trump is suing the Feds to get back the items taken from his home during the nine-hour long raid on August 8. He’s also asked for a “special master” to be put in charge of the documents in a move to take them away from the FBI.

“More than 30 FBI agents and technicians took eleven “sets” of documents that the DOJ claims are classified. As we’ve pointed out at PJ Media multiple times, the president has an undisputed authority to classify and declassify documents without oversight from underlings no matter what the Democrats may say.”

Drought to flood

That’s the way Texas droughts usually end, with floods. And with 4.5 inches of rain yesterday, we’re certainly on the way to flooding. Because more is expected today. TV news videos of a roaring Shoal Creek out of its banks reminds of the 1981 flood. Four and a half inches is 22 percent of the average year’s total. In just one day. When it’s flooding down in Texas…all the telephone lines are down. Thank goodness for WiFi.

UPDATE: More didn’t materialize and we stayed at 4.5 inches.

“This week we learned that the FBI unit responsible for the raid is the same unit responsible for the Trump-Russia collusion hoax investigation.”

And the scumbag judge the FBI shopped its search request to recused himself once before on a Trump matter because he is an admitted Trump-hater. But not this time. He wanted in on the action.

DOJ asks judge to hide the all-important affidavit of the investigators as to why Mar A Lago was raided. The released warrant is nice but not dispositive. And it doesn’t even show the Trump passports that were taken. Nor why Melania’s clothes were rummaged. Fart, Barf & Itch has always been pathetic, ever since the days when stolen cars were their primary beat. And their boss J. Edgar Hoover liked to wear women’s lingerie. Hoover’s passed or else we might know why the agents sorted through Melania’s things.

The Aggie graduates

Barbara Ellen and I are back from No. 1 son’s graduation ceremony Friday in the basketball arena at Texas A&M. With a BS in Public Health. He’s mulling over graduate school. Possibly law school or an MBA. Was originally planning to go to Physician’s Associate grad school but is wavering on that. He has a 3.75 GPA, so he has choices.

Close to a thousand kids graduated Friday. Big for August. Must have been many more in May. (Aggieland has 60,000 students.) Twenty-nine from the Corps were swore in Friday and commissioned in the Army, Air Force, Navy and Marines. Two of them women. They asked for veterans in the audience to stand and there were quite a lot of us. More than a hundred, by my quick estimate. Not too surprising. This is Texas, after all.
