Rule 5: Aliss Bonython

2nd Amendment news

You know you’re in Texas when the high school senior delivering your order of chicken fried rice and egg-drop soup wears a Smith & Wesson t-shirt.

“I like your shirt, ” I said. “Thank you,” the young fellow replied with a grin.

The Rise & Fall of D.O.D.O.: A Novel

This is a fun read that moves swiftly and well. Time travel was never so compelling nor witchcraft so interesting. I’ve read most of Neal Stephenson’s books and this one is just as good as the rest. Try it. You’ll like it.

Jerry Rivers — scumbag

Jerry Rivers, who likes to be known as Geraldo Rivera, tells Fox News that his biggest journalistic regret is not being an active, editorializing supporter of the 2nd Intifada against Israel.

Which “claimed 1,137 Israeli lives – 78 percent of them civilians, according to the International Institute for Counter-Terrorism – between 2000 and 2005, according to United With Israel. “Another 8,341 were wounded. More than half were civilians; the rest, Israeli security forces.”

The Zionist Organization of America wants Rivers, who is a Fox common tater, fired. At the least. How about we sentence him to a year in Gaza? The scumbag can play footsie with Hamas.

Fox is still No. 1

Despite the constant leftist/liberal bashing by CNN, MSNBC, etc. and most newspapers Fox News is still No. 1 in cable viewership after sixteen years. I think that, contrary to what the leftist Mediacrats say, it’s because Fox delivers both sides of the argument.

And doesn’t editorialize and call it news like the others do. Not that its common taters don’t editorialize (and they’re mostly conservatives, except for Israel-hating scumbag Jerry Rivers) but that’s what common taters do.

H.L. Mencken on anti-Trump news media

“The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary.” —H.L. Mencken.

Excellent summary of the fake news work of the Mediacrats: CNN, MSNBC, cBS, ABC, PBS, etc. But primarily Certainly Not News.

Adios Andy

Andy at My Old RV has thrown in the pixels. He’s closed his blog though it still can be found here—at least for a while. Also bailing on his alternate blog here.

Well, he is 62. And I’m just twelve years older. But then I still enjoy blogging.
