No cancer

Amazing. Considering a few months ago she was under a death sentence. But that’s what her latest CT Scan shows, my Mississippi friend, no cancer. Now all she has to defeat is the chemo-induced neuropathy in her right foot, which makes driving impossible. Going to check out a hand-controlled car.

Fiddle frustration

Trying to get back in the swing of violin playing after a three-year hiatus. I’ve forgotten so much and the new Silent I bought from Sweetwater is just too quiet. Need to insert the battery and use earbuds to hear what I’m doing. Perfect for apartment living (to not disturb the neighbors) but a frustration to players who are hard of hearing to begin with.

Aggie mail

Mr. B. won’t graduate until August but the mail already features Class of ’22 stuff. Including the Association of Former Students membership drive for their Century Club which looks to be the most popular.

Those burning food plants

“A weird trend has emerged over the past few months that seems statistically unlikely. [Eighteen] factories, logistical centers, and food processing plants have caught fire or exploded, including two that had planes crash on them. More and more people have noticed and wondered about the trend on social media.”

Some are meat-packers, which might signal the climate crazies in the act, but most aren’t.

The long goodbye

Seems as if we’ll never be free of Bronco Bama. And he’ll never be free of the Internet no matter how much he decries its lack of censorship. Not only that, but the chief promoter of the “Trump-Russia Collusion Hoax,” gets heartily scoffed at when the uncensored Internet fights back.
