Speaking of weather (see below) I have to say how tiresome this cloud cover has become. The rain I don’t mind, we need the rain, but not seeing the sun, now, for going on what seems like a month but is only 10 days today, has become a drag. Scott Chaffin (The Fat Guy) says it’s making him bloody-minded. I’m just irritable. Bob Rose, chief meteorologist for the Lower Colorado River Authority, says we’ll see some sun tomorrow, before another front pushes through. Maybe’ll be enough to last me a while.
UPDATE The sun! The sun! Awoke this morning to the golden glow behind the blinds. Blue sky. I feel better already.
