King Barack: Do what I say

The king doesn’t negotiate. He commands. With a wave of his mighty scepter. Our snooze media jumps, anyhow.

“During his two-term presidency, his Democratic party has lost control of both the House of Representatives and the Senate. But King Barack was unimpressed at the verdicts of the people. By royal decree, or as the White House calls it, executive order, he has attempted to stop illegal immigrants being deported, increase the minimum wage, intensify gun regulation and cut greenhouse gas emissions.”

British newspapers don’t jump. They’re making fun of His Earness. He deserves it.

King Barack

As we approach Independence Day, it’s time to recognize that King Obama has declared independence from the Congress and the Judiciary. He is now our imperial president who makes and enforces (or refuses to enforce) law with a wave of the imperial hand:

“In many ways, President Obama has fulfilled the dream of an imperial presidency that Richard Nixon strived for. On everything from [DOMA] to the gaming laws, this is a president who is now functioning as a super legislator. He is effectively negating parts of the criminal code because he disagrees with them.”

(UPDATE: OTOH presidents have actually been doing this for a long time, and a Republican prez [Romney, hopefully] could use the Obama precedents to shrink government. By, say, simply declining to fill two-thirds of the bureaucrat jobs presidents fill to reward their supporters. If only.)

Wonder what KB’ll do if the Supremes throw out Obamacare? Well, as a Mexican-American woman I know, the mother of a school friend of Mr. B.’s, told me the other day: “At least he isn’t white. We’ve had enough white presidents.”

As you might expect, she just looooved his majesty’s amnesty play.
