Baby Barry should come clean

Instead of picking on Sarah’s seventeen-year-old daughter, the overpaid big shots of the old media should be forcing their fav candidate to tell the truth about Rezko, Wright, Ayers, & that Iraqi billionaire.

MORE: And, while they’re at it, get him to explain how he’s going to REDUCE military spending in favor of paying ACORN-style organizers to come into all our neighborhoods to organize us for this and that–an item conveniently left out of his magnum opus peroration.

Now, that’s funny!

Well, in picking Joe "Gaffe-a-minute" Biden as his running mate, Baby Barry at least has finally shown that he has a sense of humor. He still has a little Hope left. Very little. But he’s thrown his Change out the window. Now watch his base self-destruct.

MORE: Some of Biden’s greatest hits. And many more. You can’t run out of this stuff.

HYPE, The Obama Effect

Couple of trailers here worth watching for a new flicker critical of Baby Barry. To criticise this new incarnation of Al Sharpton, without being smeared as racist, you need handsome and articulate black faces, and this flick has plenty of them. Two bestselling critical books & one soon-to-be-released critical movie, so far. Are we at critical mass yet? Do we have liftoff?

UPDATE:  I don’t watch the rube tube, so I missed the kinda, sorta Mac-Baby Barry "debate" last night. I’m still waiting for BB to agree to a face-to-face town hall with Mac. Fat chance.

Surprise, surprise

"Senator Obama’s proposed ‘tax cuts for the middle class’ are actually marginal rate hikes in disguise."

Via Cobb.

Ah, but it may be too late. Afterall, "he is building a religion." Get your pendant keychains now.

“America is no longer what it could be, what it once was.”

I suppose, most charitably, what Baby Barry is referring to here is the glorious Clinton administration. Or, perhaps, LBJ’s conception of the "Great Society," the years, that is, before the welfare system was dismantled?

Taking his various writings and statements as a whole, and his work as a community organizer into account, what I think he means is that the country no longer seeks to care for everyone to the extent that it once did. And he’d like to take us back to that time, higher taxes and all. But it’s possible he means something else. In the meantime, before he gets around to clarifying himself, he’s making some folks pretty angry.

Ommm

Baby Barry Heil! The Messiah’s supporters have come up with a strange salute. Methinks it will be counterproductive.

Corsi’s take on Baby Barry

It’s the battle of the reviews, at Amazon, as usual with a political book. None moreso, perhaps, than when Baby Barry is involved. Author Jerome R. Corsi, whose Unfit for Command, helped the Swiftboaters torpedo and sink John Kerry, is at it again with The Obama Nation. With BB, Corsi has, if possible, even richer, more obnoxious material to work with. Thus the Amazon battle between the five star reviews and the one star reviews for the book–not to mention the angry comments. Who will win? Only the review race is in doubt. So I’ll wait for the paperback.

UPDATE:  In just twelve hours, the number of reviews jumped from sixty-four to seventy-eight, and likewise the level of acrimony rose appreciably. Who knows how high it will go by November?

MORE: By Tuesday, the total had been trimmed by four reviews. Interesting. I’ve heard complaints that Amazon sometimes mickeys with the reviews, but this is the first time I’ve seen an indication of that. Nevertheless, the BB haters seem to be winning, leaving sometimes nasty comments on the one-star reviews.
